How to Prevent Account Kick-off on Steam

Note: After logging into Steam, revoke all trusted credentials so only you can receive Guard codes.

Why this matters: Previous users may still access the account without a code until credentials are revoked.

Steps

1. Go to Account Details → Security & Devices → Remove all credentials.
2. Log in again (do not revoke again after re-login).
3. Repeat before each rental session.
4. Extend your rental if you play longer than 3 hours.

For offline play, you can set Steam to Offline Mode.
